Who is Billy Brown?

Billy Brown grew up fascinated by the natural world, swimming in Lake Couchiching and Georgian Bay as often as he could.

He graduated from the U of Guelph in 2010 with a HBSc in Zoology, and then CSNN in 2013. Inspired to grow his own food after studying at CSNN, he found himself on a journey around the world, learning various farming practices, until he came back home to Canada.

Billy started a “foodscaping” business, yet something was still missing. He realized his nervous system was out of whack, and he needed to make some changes in stress management. This is when the Wim Hof Method entered his life.

Now, Billy is obsessed with teaching folks all he knows about a wide variety of holistic health topics. He currently teaches online for CSNN Toronto (Sports Nutrition and Ecology of Nutrition) and in person at various workshops and events in the Simcoe Muskoka area. Billy cofounded the Couchiching Cold Community, the Hope Community garden and works with men facing addiction at a local treatment centre in Simcoe County.

Billy has amassed a wide array of formal education and experiential learning, granting him a wide base of both knowledge and wisdom.
